Centrifugal Air Compressor

Centrifugal compressors are "dynamic" machines that use a high-speed rotating impeller to add kinetic energy to the air, which is then converted into pressure. They are inherently oil-free because the lubrication for the gearbox is physically separated from the air stream by complex seals. These are designed for massive air demands and continuous operation. Because they don't rely on friction-based compression, they are highly efficient at full load. You’ll typically find these in massive industrial plants, such as chemical processing facilities or large-scale automotive factories.
